I try to tell myself this too: that it is also blessed to be steadfast and patient when prayer feels like shouting into a void. Sending you strength.

I don’t do so well at listening patiently. It’s not so much straining to hear that is usually my problem. Instead, I get distracted by other things and don’t wait for an answer. That can be good when it comes from a place of trust. I’m afraid that it often just comes from a place of boredom or inattentiveness, though.
