A prayer for eternal life

This is a prayer I go to when I feel the need to get back to the basics of being a child of God, of being the light of the world, of becoming all flame. (Yes, I should pray this every day…I really should.)

Father in heaven, Maker of all things,
Knowing You is eternal life; Help me to know you more.

Jesus, Messiah, Savior of the world,
Knowing You is eternal life;  Help me to know you more.

Holy Spirit, Comforter, counselor, giver of life,
Lead me to a deeper, known knowing.

Father in heaven, Maker of all things,
Loving You is eternal life; Help me to love you more.

Jesus, Messiah, Savior of the world,
Loving You is eternal life; Help me to love you more.

Holy Spirit, Comforter, counselor, giver of life,
Lead me to a deeper, beloved loving.

Father in heaven, Maker of all things,
Trusting You is eternal life; Help me to trust you more.

Jesus, Messiah, Savior of the world,
Trusting You is eternal life; Help me to trust you more.

Holy Spirit, Comforter, counselor, giver of life,
Lead me to a deeper, entrusted trusting.

Father in heaven, Maker of all things,
Obeying You is eternal life; Help me to obey you more.

Jesus, Messiah, Savior of the world,
Obeying You is eternal life; Help me to obey you more.

Holy Spirit, Comforter, counselor, giver of life,
Lead me to a deeper, appointed obeying.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
  Help me to know, love, trust and obey You more.
