Over the last several years, I’ve found myself composing prayers. It’s not something I ever set out to do; it just came along on its own. Here’s a prayer that came along a couple of weeks ago (I’m still working on memorizing it).
Grace and peace to you…

Imaginative God – a prayer
Imaginative God,
beyond my imagination,
I am but a figment of your thought,
a speaking of your word,Which gives me my true identity,
my concrete reality,
my reason for being,
my complete fulfillment.Speak me today, so I may
see as you speak me to see
and hear as you speak me to hear;Think of me today, so I may
learn as you think of me learning
and feel as you think of me feeling;Imagine me today, so I may
act as you imagine me acting
and rest as you imagine me resting.Gracious, imaginative God,
may I, this day,
be as you imagine me to be.dw

Hi, dw.
This is a stunning prayer! Your indirect way of describing God’s ‘creation’ of you (and each of us) one day at a time is powerful and freeing. Each day imagined by God in light of what’s already happened and what’s already happening. And a prayer that fits every day of your life. Wonderful.
Blessings to you for today and tomorrow!

I’m so glad you found it helpful. It’s one of my “go to” prayers, one I know will help align me with God’s purposes.
